I am happy to know that MES has endured to host a new user friendly website to meet the requirements of the age. I am sure the new website will bring in more transparency and speedy dissemination of information. I feel that it is a huge responsibility to sustain and build on the legacy of modern civil engineering.

Military Engineer Services (MES) is a premier organization of the country which is responsible for creating military infrastructure. MES provides work services support to the three services, Ordnance Factories and other organizations under the Ministry of Defence. The organization has professionally and technically competent human resource. The plethora of experience of the organization relates to a very wide range of infrastructure to include runways, marine infrastructure, hangars, technical facilities, multi-storey buildings, utility infrastructure.

The MES organizations comprising of proficient personnel are deployed across the country even at remote locations in all types of terrain and inhospitable climatic conditions and have been playing an important role in empowering the combat effectiveness of the Armed Forces. The organization is not only geared up to provide works services support during peace time but is also equipped to provide dedicated support during war.

I urge all stakeholders to continue working towards higher standards of professionalism to achieve high quality and speedy construction for greater user satisfaction.
