1.         BA-3671, Brig Gen Bashir Ahmed, psc was born on 01 November 1969  in a respectable muslim family at village- Jamirta, P.O- Jamirta, P.S- Shahzadpur, Dist- Sirajgonj.

2.         He joined in Bangladesh Army in 1988 and was commissioned on 22 Dec 1989. After joining in Bangladesh Army he served in various units and formations of Bangladesh Army. He passed B.Sc Engineering (Civil) from NUST, Pakistan in 1996. He served in UN Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL) and Sudan (UNMIS) and at present he is serving as DW & CE (Army) wef 21-10-2015.

3.         He is a graduate from Defence Services Command & Staff College Mirpur. He possess MDS from National University of Bangladesh.  He took part in various Course/Training in Bangladesh Army i.e. OW, BCC, OBC, CIIC, JC&SC, ECCC, MSC, Army Staff Course, UN Human Rights Course and DP Course.

4.         He visited many foreign countries i.e. Pakistan, Sierra Leone, England, Belgium, France, USA, Sudan, India, China, Japan, Singapore & Malaysia.

5.         He is blessed with 03 daughters and name of his wife is Mrs. Nazmun Nahar.
